Airing down at the start of a trail and pumping back up at the end are the two jobs that eat the most time on a day out — and doing them one wheel at a time, crouching at each corner with a gauge, is why plenty of people run the wrong pressure all day.
The Splitter does two tyres at once. One hose to each wheel, one digital head in your hand, and both corners come up or down together off a single reading. Two operations instead of four, and the pair always ends up matched — which is what actually keeps a 4x4 tracking straight in sand.
The head reads 0–250 PSI in 0.1 PSI steps to within 1%, on a 1.6" LCD with a blue backlight that stays readable at dusk or under a bonnet at night. There's a top-mounted work light on a single button push, running roughly 200 hours off two AAA cells, so you're not holding a torch in your teeth at a river crossing.
Everything downstream is built for the conditions: heavy-duty rubber hoses long enough to reach both tyres on a 5m wheelbase, brass fittings, a rubber bump guard round the head, and a leak-proof seal throughout. The 1/4" M-Style connector plugs straight onto most compressors — with no adapters to lose.
